Our Conway customers love to keep their cars clean. And the service team at Beach Ford of Myrtle Beach loves to help them do that. One of the things our customers are curious about, though, is how to clean car seats. Seats can be tricky, especially if they are leather. That’s why we’ve put together this handy cleaning guide that even includes specific instructions on how to clean leather car seats.
Follow these steps on how to clean car seats if your seats are fabric:
Remove all the dirt and debris from your seats with a vacuum.
Lightly (don’t saturate) spray down the seats with a cleaner that is designed specifically for fabric. Do not use a regular household cleaner.
Work the cleaning solution into the fabric with a brush.
Wipe any suds away with a microfiber cloth. Make sure to do this before the fabric dries.
Vacuum the seats again, this time to help the seats dry more quickly.
Let the seats dry completely before using them.
