It’s based on five special driving modes. The new instrument panel is ten inches wide and is much more advances than the original GT. The old analog gauges, knobs and buttons are a thing of the past.

“Driver focus and attention are key with such high performance,” said Jamal Hameedi, chief engineer, Ford Performance. “We’ve designed the GT with a sleek digital instrument display that changes depending on driving mode in ways that are important and usable to the driver.”

The experts at Ford created the state-of-the-art digital instrument cluster to be more customizable. It also more elegant and able to be tailored to provide information in each drive mode. This new GT panel will allow drivers the instantaneous information they need to make those critical decisions while pushing their GT to the limit.

Its layout is designed around which data is most important, when to present it, and how to show information in a way that’s most expedient for a driver to process.
